Macomb Reservation State Park lies just outside the Adirondack Park along the Salmon River’s course toward Lake Champlain. Surrounded by state land, the park has a wilderness atmosphere. Visitors can use non-motorized boats and fish in Davis pond or the Salmon River. The park has playing fields, a picnic area, a self-guided nature trail, a hiking trail, electric and non-electric wooded campsites. Winter activities include ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
The park opens in mid-May and closes after Labor Day.
